$9,800 for a ‘96 with 4x4 and the 7.3 Powerstroke. Looks damn good for a 20 year old pickup with 300,000 miles on it.

I know it’s got a great engine but...
$10k for a 20 year old truck with 300,000 miles. No, don’t do it.

Looks awesome

Overpriced for a truck with that many miles.

Far too expensive, and the bumpers arnt good enough to offset the mileage.

Good price for what it is though.

For what it is, they seem to go for around that.

It’s a good price considering everything... Especially if it is rust free.

It looks clean, but that price seems outrageous (admittedly, I haven’t shopped for used diesel trucks in awhile). My fist thought was to wonder if it comes with bundles of narcotics stashed in some secret compartment to justify the price.

those of you saying “too many miles” apparently aren’t familiar with the 7.3 Powerstroke. if that was in Michigan I’d probably already own it.

Exactly.

7.3

Fair enough. I liked both my 91 IDI 7.3 and my 02 7.3.

Absolutely!

Jesus, stock motor, stock height, and no rust? NP

that brush guard probably weighs as much as a new Fiesta
DO IT

If you don't mind the newer body style, I'll sell you mine for $6000. Half the miles, more than enough money left over to fix the rust on mine and pocket $2000.

Not long bed though is it?
I'd prefer to just go with a rust free older body style truck to be honest.

Also, anybody saying overpriced doesn’t know the market for these. I sold my ‘96 with 250k years ago for $8500, and prices aren't heading down.

Nah, 6.5. Can't blame you, the OBS trucks are just so good looking.

It will be good for ramming peasants as well.

Nu fucking way! The price is so high it’s not even on this planet anymore.
$5K MAX. 300000 miles is half a million fucking kilometers.
I wouldn’t pay $9k even if it had half the mileage.
Remember just because the motor is bullet proof doesn’t mean everything else is. and with that many miles it will be way more trouble than it’s worth.
You are WAY WAY WAY better off with your Jetta if you are seriously considering this truck for this price.
![]() 07/21/2016 at 23:10 |

Agreed, it’s worth it for what it is.
![]() 07/21/2016 at 23:10 |

I’d keep the Jetta and get a truck, and then trade the Jetta for a 996 911 later down the line.

Jesus, you’re bad at ‘muricaing. That’s not for ramming PEASANTS, it’s for ramming COMMIE LIBTARDS.

Yeah, it's a super clean truck. I don't think I'd pay $9800, but if that's higher than what it's worth it isn't by much.

Hahahaha, I lost it at “COMMIE LIBTARDS.”
